Technology Committee

The Technology Committee (formerly known as the Information Technology Advisory Committee, ITAC) aims to promote the strategic and efficient use of technology, both hardware and software, to support student learning.

Technology Committee Objectives for 2024-2025:

• Share broadly and encourage using a criteria document and decision flowchart for technology selection (hardware and software) based on accessibility, privacy, compatibility with existing systems, cost, training, sustainability, longevity, etc. 
• Recommend an annual calendar of standardized technology maintenance dates that are linked to the instructional calendar. 
• Recommend a framework for the Computer Lab Workgroup Recommendations. 
• Develop guidance on using AI for Employees: Establish a workgroup to draft guidance on using AI in the workplace.
