Welcome

The District Police Department is here to assist with the safety of you and all CCSF campuses from crime and other emergencies. We want our students to be able to pursue their education positively and for our faculty and staff to perform their work securely.  We are committed to a safe campus environment for all our students, staff, faculty, and visitors. We pride ourselves on a community-oriented relationship with those we are sworn to protect and serve.

The San Francisco Community College District Police Department is responsible for the primary and overall law enforcement protection of all CCSF district campuses. We also coordinate with other law enforcement partners throughout San Francisco to further ensure public safety for the entire college community.

Please explore our website and take advantage of the information available. Your comments and suggestions for improvement will always be welcome.

We are part of the CCSF community and we are here to serve.

Courtesy Services We Provide

District Police can accompany you from your vehicle when parked on District property, from the perimeter of campus or Center, or from your class or office to your next class or to another office on campus.  In addition, we can also accompany you back to your vehicle or to the perimeter of campus.  District police will not escort you to off campus destinations or transport you from the Ocean campus to other Centers.

District Police will provide you with assistance with vehicle battery jump starts or on your behalf, Dispatch can call a tow truck or individual of your choosing to help assist you.

Due to liability concerns, the District Police will not attempt to unlock your vehicle. Dispatch can call a tow truck or an individual of your choosing to help assist you.

The District Police Department on the Ocean campus and our police department sub-stations located at each Center are the official locations to accept and store lost and found property. Lost and found property stored at the District Police Department over 90 days is either destroyed or donated.

Please call Dispatch at 415-239-3200 to check on lost and found property from 7am to 10pm daily.

Unfortunately, due to health and safety concerns for our police officers, we have discontinued ride-a-longs.  You can always contact Dispatch and request to speak to an officer or a Sergeant for police department information.
