Welcome to the CCSF Title IX Office
The San Francisco Community College District is committed to creating and maintaining a community free of all forms of unlawful discrimination, including sex-based discrimination such as sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, and domestic or dating violence. Title IX also protects the rights of pregnant and parenting students.
The Title IX Office is part of the Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC). OCRC’s goal is to prevent, stop, and remedy unlawful discrimination and harassment. The District has adopted detailed policies addressing sex-based discrimination and has appointed Alex Brouwer as the Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for overall compliance with Title IX, including receiving and responding to complaints, coordinating supportive measures, providing training, and conducting impartial investigations.
Any person may report sex discrimination or sexual harassment, even if they are not the alleged victim. A report can be made online via a Discrimination/Harassment Incident Report or by contacting the Title IX Coordinator via phone, email, or mail.
For more information about discrimination and harassment related to other protected bases (e.g., race/ethnicity, religion, disability, age, disability, etc.), visit this webpage: Unlawful Discrimination & Harassment.
