Registration - How to Enroll
The steps to enroll in an online class are the same as enrolling in a face-to-face class. To enroll follow the steps below to become a City College student today!
1. Apply for Admission
2. Take a Placement Test
3. Attend New Student Orientation Online
4. Meet with a Counselor
5. Register for Classes (Use Web4)
6. Apply for Financial Aid
* If you have an AA degree or higher, you may skip steps 2, 3, and 4 above through the exemption process. However, exempting may result in your receiving a later registration date than other students.

If you are a returning students check your CCSFmail for important registration information. To register for classes go to the RAM ID Login Portal.
Adding an Online Class after Open Registration
To add an online course during the add/drop period, you must have an add code. Only students who have already applied for College admission and received their student ID number can add a class.
If the instructor has scheduled an orientation, you may pick up an add code at that time if there is space in the course. With the add code, you can add the course by following the instructions on the "How To Enroll" page.

Wait List Information
All online courses use waitlists. The waitlist is in Web4 (where you
register for classes). Instructors do not keep a waitlist.
