Welcome to City College of San Francisco (CCSF)! 

Since CCSF was founded in 1935, our college has served a diverse community of students, helping them achieve their goals and dreams through accessible and affordable education. In fact, San Francisco was the first city in the U.S. to offer free tuition to residents through the Free City Program.

CCSF offers over 300 credit and noncredit degrees and certificates and over 25 student support programs. We serve a diverse student body, from recent high school grads to working professionals to retirees, and we support our students to achieve a variety of educational goals, such as certificate completion, transfer to a 4-year university, or career transition or advancement.

CCSF has six locations throughout San Francisco – our main Ocean campus and our five centers: Downtown, Chinatown/North Beach, Mission, John Adams, and Evans. We also offer courses and programs online.
