Student ambassadors hang out at CCSF

The Student Ambassador Program

Student Ambassadors are essential members of the Outreach team that welcome prospective, new, and returning students to our college community and support them to find and access the information and resources they need to achieve their goals at CCSF.

You'll see CCSF's Student Ambassadors providing essential support at our Student Success Center Welcome Desk, leading tours around our Ocean Campus, and welcoming community members at signature Outreach events.

Student Ambassadors are CCSF's student representatives and recognized student leaders on campus. Consider applying to become a CCSF Student Ambassador if you want to support your fellow CCSF students and grow your leadership skills!

Kelvin, Student Ambassador

Brief Biography: I am a compassionate, driven individual with a strong background in customer service, operations, and peer support. Currently a student at City College of San Francisco majoring in Human Resource Management, I bring over 25 years of professional experience across retail, tech, education, and financial services. I have dedicated myself to helping others, whether through student advocacy, front-line service, or leadership roles. I also have a service dog named Rosco—he has been my son, my shadow, and my best boy for over 10 years. He is warm, friendly, and usually stealing hearts on campus. (Feel free to ask to pet him—he is a pro at making people smile.) I currently work as a Student Ambassador and Library Assistant, where I help students navigate campus life and support library operations. My leadership style is grounded in empathy, accountability, and teamwork. I thrive in environments that value purpose, inclusion, and personal growth.

Passion or Hobbies: Above all, I am passionate about making a difference—whether it's brightening a student’s day, improving a coworker’s experience, or helping City College thrive. If there is a chance to bring more kindness—I am there.
