Mission

The mission of the African American Resource Center is to provide safe, comfortable community spaces for studying and connecting with others while serving as a one-stop hub for an academic, community, cultural, and school engagement.

The African American Resource Center exists to affirm, empower, and uplift African American, Black, and Caribbean students by providing a hub for academic support, cultural and community celebration, emotional wellness, and creative expression.

Description of the African American Resource Center

The center honors the richness of black identity in all its forms while fostering spaces of safety, joy, and transformation: Intellectual, academic, spiritual, artistic, and communal.
