This Short-term intensive training program prepares you for entry-level employment on the nursing career ladder. At the end of this program, you will be ready to take the State Certification Exam for Nursing Assistant and with the basic skills you have learned, you will be prepared to care for patients in convalescent homes, skilled nursing facilities and acute care hospitals.

Total Units: 13

VOCN 23, VOCN 24 and VOCN 25 classes receive college credit. The classes are particularly suited to further studies in the Nursing and Health Career Programs.
