Catalog Description
Students will learn the basic skills needed to decipher media messages and understand the impact such messages have on personal and societal decision making.

Hybrid (on Canvas and In person) This class is 16 weeks and requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. For more information about CityOnline, go to the CityOnline website. This class is bilingual English-Spanish.
