Catalog Description

A first course in high school geometry. Topics include point, lines, and planes; classification of angles; triangles and the Pythagorean theorem; classifications of polygons; perimeters and areas of polygons; circumference and area of circles; surface areas and volumes of three-dimensional shapes.

Section Notes

Hybrid (on Canvas and In person) This class is 16 weeks and requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. For more information about CityOnline, go to the CityOnline website.
