Catalog Description

This course examines the value of the U.S. Constitution as a means to provide laws, rights, and protections for citizens of the United States. Evaluation and review of the key elements of representative form of democracy, including the idea that authority to govern resides with the people.

Section Notes

Hybrid (on Canvas and In person) This class is 16 weeks and requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Mission Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. For more information about CityOnline, go to the CityOnline website. For course details, students must check the teacher's website. This class is taught primarily in Spanish.
