Trauma in Students' Lives: How it Affects Learning and What Faculty Can Do About It
In Fall 2015, with the support of Student Equity funding, the Interdisciplinary Studies department and specifically the Trauma Prevention and Recovery Certificate Program offered two workshops to faculty (and some student peer mentors) about how trauma intersects with learning, focused around strategies to use in the classroom, counseling or library.
Information on these workshops and the materials provided by the two guest speakers or workshop leaders are included on this page.
We encourage other departments to link to this page, too!
