Take Credit and Noncredit Classes at the John Adams Center

The John Adams Center, at Masonic and Hayes, is housed in the beautiful, historic, and modernized, Lowell school building, right in the middle of the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. The John Adams Center offers both credit and noncredit classes in a variety of disciplines.

Our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes serve hundreds of city residents to rapidly improve English skills. The John Adams Center also offers many of the college's Health Technology programs, including Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, Electrocardiography, Medical Billing, Fire Science and many other certificate programs in the health fields.
