CPR/AED and first aid training targeted for layperson rescuers. American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED card awarded to those who meet AHA competency standards.

This course meets the State of California requirements for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) refresher and provides the course content and skills verification necessary to recertify as an EMT at the basic level. Additional content fulfills the National Registry of EMT's refresher for recertification at the national level.

Students create projects using materials and processes increasingly more challenging as the course progresses and their abilities develop. Adaptive equipment and techniques introduced as needed.
