The following are one-way articulation agreements for transfer from City College of San Francisco to the institutions listed below. Reverse articulation (from the transfer institution to CCSF) is not included in these agreements.

         ** New Mills applicants are expected to be able to apply for fall 2023 enrollment.  This page  will be updated as we receive transfer and application information.

Accreditation Notes 

*Academy of Art University qualified for WASC accreditation in May 2007. City College of San Francisco can now accept credit for Academy of Art courses as of Spring, 2006, the semester the University passed its accreditation candidacy visit.

**The Art Institute of California (all eight locations, including San Francisco) received WASC accreditation in April 2012 as a result of its merger with Argosy University. City College of San Francisco will now be able to accept credit from The Art Institute of California for courses taken in Fall 2012 and beyond. Note that the San Francisco campus stopped admitting new students effective Fall 2018.

Below are links to Transfer Course Equivalency information for various public universities. These are not articulation agreements, but generally indicate which CCSF courses have been accepted for the university's degree requirements.

CSU Chancellor's Office approves courses from some private colleges for its CSU General Education-Breadth pattern. City College of San Francisco students who previously completed any of these courses at the colleges listed below may apply the credits in the manner indicated in the linked charts. Please note that the "Date Approved" is the effective date. Courses taken prior to the date approved may not be accepted for CSU GE-B.
