Instructor Bio

I've been teaching Computer Science at CCSF since 1999, and I chaired the department from 2011-2019, and now starting in 2026 I'm back as the department chair.

I earned my Master's Degree in Computer Science from NYU in 2001, and my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College in 1995.

I live in the Castro district with my husband and our dog. I have two kids who are now young adults, living on their own.
