Catalog Description

Introduction to the origins, purpose, subject matter, and methods of Women's and Gender Studies and to feminist perspectives on a range of social issues affecting women of diverse backgrounds. Study of the formation of gender and its intersections with race, class, sexuality, dis/ability, age, religion, and other systems of difference.

Section Notes

WGST 25-Sec 931 has no required on-campus meetings. It requires the use of Canvas; all coursework is completed on Canvas using an internet enabled device. The instructor will offer weekly optional Zoom meetings for those who wish to meet and discuss course materials. This class is part of CityOnline and is 8 weeks.
