Catalog Description
An intermediate course in writing for cinema, emphasizing professional format, screenplay structure, building conflict, character and thematic development, and visual storytelling skills. These skills are employed in creating the second act of an original screenplay.
Section Notes
This class requires in-person, live online meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meeting information (meeting days, times, location) is in the class schedule. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. Live online meetings require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 17 weeks.
