Introduction to modern media, with an emphasis on the development of the news media, analysis of the credibility of the media and an examination of the media's impact on daily life from a variety of perspectives. The course teaches students news literacy tools for critically navigating the sea of information directed at the public daily.

CSU/UC/CAN UC/CSU This is a fully online course and there is no face-to -face meeting.
