Introduction to the basic concepts of pharmacology with emphasis on the principles of pharmacology, medication, calculations, preparation, administration, and storage of medications, and understanding of the actions, side effects, and adverse reactions of different drugs.

This class requires live online meetings and the use of Canvas. Live online meetings take place on Thursdays from 9:10-12:00 pm and require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device.
