CurricUNET META has predefined workflows dependent on the type of proposal that has been launched into the workflow. (*A “proposal” in CurricUNET is any assessment report, program review, course outline, or program description and their associated reports.*) What follows are the detailed workflows for each course, addenda, or program type after the originator launches a proposal. Usually each approver can request changes of the originator and must approve before the proposal goes to the next step.

Course Outlines, Majors, Certificates, and Honors Addenda

All MODIFY program and course proposals (including honors addenda) go through this workflow:

  1. Originator: Submits proposal

  6. Preagenda Review:
The preagenda group (Curriculum Committee Chair, Articulation Officer, Requisite Coordinator, SLO Coordinator, AVC of Curriculum) reviews all proposals and classifies as informational or full-committee review based on scope of change, type of proposal, and potential need for more revision.
Curriculum Committe Chair: Assigned as informational item, Assigned for full commitee review, or Disapproved (back to step 2).
