This course is designed for adults with disabilities. Practical information and effective strategies to practice good nutrition, manage personal health, and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle for increasing independence. Focus on consumer skills related to food shopping, label reading, meal planning and food safety. Additionally, students will learn techniques for managing mental and emotional health, and maintaining healthy relationships.
