High Intermediate 7 language skills. Extended communication on a range of academic, social, and career-related topics. Comprehension of adapted and authentic literary and informational texts. Development of multiple paragraph texts.

High beginning 4 language skills. Communication in familiar social and workplace contexts. Comprehension of simplified reading texts that include some unfamiliar language. Basic paragraph writing.

Low intermediate speaking and listening focus course. Comprehension of adapted and some authentic narrative and informational oral texts. Participation in discussions on career, social, and academic topics.

Introduction to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) naturalization test, including ESL reading, writing, listening, and speaking related to test content.

Through lecture, demonstration, and practice, older adults learn strategies for safely implementing a physical activity program, techniques for stress reduction, and understanding key healthy aging concepts to maintain and improve overall health and well-being.

Introduction to architectural concepts and principles through 2-D and 3-D design projects. Focus is on issues, requirements, and objectives related to visual perception of form and space, architectural meaning, spatial experiences, as these relate to the human condition.

Low intermediate speaking and listening skills. Participation in conversations and discussions on familiar and some unfamiliar topics.

Preparation for entry level employment as a custodian. Training in safety, use of tools, equipment, chemicals, materials and supplies, and the proper application of dusting, sweeping, mopping, use of ladders, scaffolds, various floor machines and specialized equipment.
