Catalog Description
Development of high beginning ESL written and oral communication skills for employment as a professional cook in the restaurant industry. English terminology for cooking utensils, supplies, common tasks, and safety in restaurants.

This class requires in-person and the use of Canvas. In-person meeting information (meeting days, times, location) is in the class schedule. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet-enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 17.5 weeks, 1/12/26-5/20/26.
