Instructor Bio

The diverse community of students at City College is a the best part of my job here. I enjoy learning from the students in a collaborative atmosphere with plenty of discussion and community activity.

I have been teaching English at CCSF since 2009, and have been the director of the TRIO Writing Success Project since 2017. In this role, I work in a community of tutors and advisors who help students reach their goals. We talk a lot about the challenges and triumphs of being a first-gen college student and paving the way for others to move successfully through college.
