About Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a College-wide incubator of disruptive ideas that students bring to life from concept development to market testing all the way to impact.

The CEI harnesses the collaborative spirit of various Centers and academic departments within the College and community partners in providing access to critical resources and to network with the entrepreneurial community in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Explore Potential Careers

This program prepares students to become a catalyst for change through entrepreneurship- be it for economic or social impact. It also equips students not only for gainful employment but also for job creation for themselves and their communities. Lastly, the program is designed to develop entrepreneurial mindset that shapes one's ability in taking risks, identifying opportunities, and being comfortable with uncertainties and change. 

Studies have shown that an entrepreneurial mindset is one of the traits that employers look for new hires today. Corporate intrapreneurship is widely embraced by major employers across the world especially among MNCs and budding startups. Students trained in entrepreneurship and innovation are suitable for marketing, sales, business development, and customer insights-related positions across industries.
