About CNIT Cloud Technology
The Cloud Technology is a brand new area in the CNIT Department and currently we have faculty of CNIT already teaching courses of Azure (Microsoft Cloud) and faculty certified to teach AWS Cloud Technology.
The Cloud Technology area has been created due to the growth of this technology in the industry that has presented several top-performing companies based in San Francisco in the Forbes Cloud 100 list.
The programs being implemented by CNIT can bring to the students the possibility of working in the cloud technology field of a typical workplace including the evaluation of a company’s computing needs and deployment of appropriate cloud solutions to meet them.
CNIT is in the process of creating partnership with the many places that offer industry certification in the cloud technology area such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA Cloud (Cisco), CCNP Cloud (Cisco), MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (Microsoft).
It is also recommended that students should refer to the Industry Certificate to pursue certificates as: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.

After completing the program(s) offered by CNIT in the Cloud Technology students will be qualified for the following positions:
- Cloud Administrator
- Cloud Engineer
- Cloud Network Engineer
