Catalog Description
Nutrition and food concepts relevant to students in the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Programs. Review properties of nutrients, common metabolic and digestive problems and the required diet modifications and treatment.

Nutrition and Culinary Arts 2.0 — Online, Asynchronous (16 weeks) This course is part of CityOnline, with no in-person meetings. Coursework is completed via Canvas using an internet-enabled device. WileyPLUS for Visualizing Nutrition: Everyday Choices (5th Edition) is required. All students are automatically enrolled in Follett Access via Canvas, which provides WileyPLUS for $65 (billed to their student account). Do not purchase a PDF or used textbook.
