Stoichiometry, solutions and aqueous reactions, gas behavior, thermochemistry, atomic structure and periodic properties, chemical bonding, molecular structure, condensed phases and intermolecular forces, and an introduction to equilibrium.
Section Notes
This hybrid section requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. The listed times are for mandatory in-person meetings, which take place at Ocean Campus. Lectures will be asynchronous through pre-recorded videos. Students must also be available on 5/13/26, 1:30-4:30pm, for the in-person final exam. Students will complete and submit coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 17.5 weeks.
