Catalog Description
This course is designed and approved to meet the Dental Board of California regulations for coronal polishing. Didactic and clinical hours. Use of techniques to remove the following from the clinical crown: pellicle, plaque, and extrinsic stain. Students will be required to provide their own patients and follow the program's sterilization and infection control policies.

This course is a tech-enhanced course and requires the use of Canvas. Some coursework is completed on Canvas using an internet-enabled device. This course is part of the Dental Assisting Program and cannot be taken as a separate course. You must apply to the program first.
