Catalog Description
This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to install hardware, configure, repair, and maintain desktop and mobile computer systems in a typical office environment. Topics include hardware components and peripherals, assembly, maintenance, upgrading, and basic troubleshooting. Topics include: hardware components, fixed and mobile systems, terminology and function. Also covered are preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

This class requires use of Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Students will complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet-enabled device.
