Catalog Description
An intersectional, feminist approach to explore the social determinants and issues related to the complexity of women's health. This course analyzes the biological, psychological, and sociocultural aspects of women's health, and explores health services, health education, research, and healthcare delivery systems. Emphasis on the role of risk factors and prevention, behavior change theories and processes, and critical analysis and evaluation of health resources. Strategies for social and political change are assessed.
