Catalog Description
This capstone course in the Chinese brush painting series supports students in achieving greater technical mastery and further developing conceptual, analytical, and cultural skills established in Art 146C. Emphasis is placed on creating self-directed work that connects technique, style, and philosophical content. Students will produce a cohesive and refined body of artwork that reflects personal expression and cultural understanding, preparing them for transfer to upper-division university programs, private art schools, or entry into the professional art world through portfolios suitable for presentation to galleries, curators, art directors, or artist registries.

PREREQ: ART 146C or demonstration of exit skills
