Catalog Description
Further exploration of visual communication strategies related to the field of illustration. Students develop their personal creative voices through experimentation with various media while enhancing research skills. Emphasis is placed on creating a cohesive portfolio that demonstrates creative problem-solving in editorial illustration, poster design, book illustration, graphic narrative, social commentary, and character design.

This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meeting information (meeting days, times, location) is in the class schedule. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet-enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks.
