Catalog Description
An overview of the concepts and significance of factors that contribute to college transfer and success in college. Factors to be explored include social awareness, cultural identity, goal setting, educational planning, and college resources. Focus on understanding the college/university systems and on understanding of the relationship of cultural experiences and college success.

This class is a cohort course, part of the Puente Program. This course is also linked to English C1000 and English 1AS, a support course that offers additional class time and an assigned tutor. All sections must MUST be added together. This section is an in-person class with scheduled meetings at Mission campus.
