Catalog Description
Elements of garment construction using intermediate clothing construction methods and techniques. Multiple finishes, hard to handle fabrics, use of overlock, complex construction sequences. Students construct three garments using techniques from class.
Section Notes
This class requires five in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Tuesdays, 8/25, 9/22, 10/20, 11/17 and 12/8 from 9:10 am – 2:00 pm on the Chinatown/North Beach Campus, Annex Building, Room A404. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks.
