Overview

CCSF’s Downtown Center is located at 88 4th Street in San Francisco. The building is an 8 story, Type 1 steel framed education building constructed in 1975. The 5th floor was originally built out as a large open computer lab suite. Over time, minor remodeling projects have subdivided the space into individual classrooms using non-structural room dividers.

The scope of the project is to remove existing finishes and room dividers and to erect new ceiling height partitions, finishes, data services and power, updated lighting, and suspended ceilings to create up to 5 modern computer classrooms, a lounge, and support offices.

• Project Area: 6,200 sf project area of a 9,288 sf floor
• Execution Conditions (Constraints): Floor will be unoccupied and fully available to contractor for the duration of construction. Work is permitted outside normal business hours. Complete TI buildout in a single sequence; no phased delivery assumed.
