Rams Reflection Room (RRR)
A Space for Prayer, Reflection, Meditation, and Mindfulness
The Rams Reflection Room is a dedicated space where members of the City College of San Francisco (CCSF) community can pray, meditate, reflect, or simply enjoy a quiet moment.
Rooted in CCSF’s commitment to equity, belonging, and student well-being, this non-denominational space is open to individuals of all faiths, backgrounds, and beliefs. It offers a quiet, welcoming environment for prayer, personal reflection, mindfulness, and meditation.
Purpose of the Space
The Rams Reflection Room is available for:
- Students of all faith traditions seeking a place for prayer
- Individuals observing daily or periodic spiritual practices
- Students engaging in meditation or mindfulness
- Anyone needing a quiet space to reflect, decompress, or reset
This space is intentionally non-denominational and inclusive.
Location & Hours
Location: Student Union Building, Room 104B
Summer 2026 Hours:
- Access by appointment. Email you request to [email protected].
Fall 2026 Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m
Please check for holiday closures and adjusted hours during finals and campus breaks.
What is Provided
The Rams Reflection Room includes:
- Two distinct spaces within the room to support multiple users while maintaining privacy and comfort
- Clean, open floor with large rugs suitable for prayer, meditation, or reflection
- Shoe storage area
- Prayer rugs, chairs, and meditation cushions available for community use
The space is intentionally simple and flexible to accommodate a variety of spiritual and personal practices.
Nearby Facilities
For convenience, the Rams Reflection Room is located next door to the men’s and women’s restrooms.
Access & Reservations
CCSF students and employees can request access to the space for the duration of the semester by completing the Rams Reflection Room Access Request Form.
Once your request is approved, visit the Office of Student Life & Leadership (Student Union Room 205) to pick up the lock box code information. You may then access the room during posted hours using the lock box. Please ensure the room is properly closed and locked upon departure.
Access is granted on a semester basis. A new request is required each semester.
Guidelines for Shared Use
To ensure the space remains welcoming and peaceful for all, we ask that visitors:
- Use the space respectfully and maintain a quiet environment
- Respect others’ personal space and diverse beliefs
- Refrain from bringing candles, incense, lighters, or any fire-related items
- Keep electronic devices silenced
- Leave the space clean and in its original condition after use
- Ensure the room is properly closed and locked upon departure
This space is shared, non-denominational, and intended for prayer, reflection, meditation, and quiet use by all members of the CCSF community.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in loss of access to the space.
