E-Commerce Business Apps

This course will survey contemporary e-commerce apps, marketplaces, and platforms that facilitate entrepreneurial business success. Topics include planning, marketing, and managing business products and services with specific e-commerce apps. Through hands-on projects and case studies, students will integrate business models with practical skills needed to develop effective e-commerce strategies, analyze market opportunities, and implement best practices for the digital marketplace.

Database for Bus/MS Access

Introduction to dynamic relational database management using Microsoft Access. This course provides in-depth coverage of the concepts and techniques required to create, manage, format, modify, and configure Access database objects. Topics covered include creating tables with fields, defining table relationships, constructing queries, developing custom forms, and developing custom reports. Course completion will assist in the preparation for the Microsoft Office Specialist MS Access certification exams.

Special Libraries

Reference, communication, teamwork, resources, and technology competency for library support staff working in special libraries and information centers. Surveys need and use of specialized information for personal, corporate, or academic use from print and online resources in a variety of special libraries. Types of special libraries covered in this course will vary by semester.
