Designed for bilingual/heritage students who are effective in oral communication in Spanish within their communities, but have little formal training in written forms of the language. Intensive review of grammar, composition and translation. Emphasis on control of high-frequency structures to produce a broad range of vocabulary related to topics of personal, public, and community interest, with competency on authentic cultural practices and perspectives.
