Dear College Community,
Welcome to the second week of the Fall Semester 2021! We are moving forward in UNITY!
With the beginning of the Fall 2021 semester, this week brought expanded in-person instruction opportunities to students. All in-person instruction has been set up following our Return to Campus protocols. There are hundreds of classes starting Aug. 30. Simply go here to browse the Fall Schedules.
On August 10, the Board of Directors of the Foundation of City College of San Francisco held a special meeting to consider a proposal to establish an account to accept private funds from individuals and entities in support of African American Studies at CCSF. Not only did the Foundation of CCSF Board approve the proposal, but they also committed $25,000 to the effort! Thank you, Foundation!
Once again, 100% of our graduates have passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists’ (AART) Registry Exam on their first try! Passing the registry exam is an incredibly difficult task. It is the culmination of 2+ years of intensive didactic and clinical education. In collaboration with the Web Advisory team, RiSE is hosting a Digital Equity Walk of the College’s website on September 1. The specific goal of the Digital Equity Walk is to identify how well students can navigate the website to accomplish particular tasks (identifying programs of interest, identifying relevant classes, identifying next steps, etc.). What we gather during this event will inform changes to the website. Click here to participate.
The New Student Counseling Department provides virtual counseling support and Steps to Credit online workshops for the noncredit students as part of the registration support at Ocean and each Center. For general inquiries, our Counseling Virtual Help Counters are open M-Th, 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm, and here is the Zoom link to connect. Success at CCSF starts with counseling!
