Catalog Description
An introduction to research methods in psychology. This course presents how researchers in psychology use critical analysis, theories, and methods to generate usable information. Emphasis on research design, experimental procedures, instrumentation, qualitative methods, and the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of findings. Special focus is given to conducting research that is inclusive, culturally informed, and mindful of diverse perspectives.

This class requires use of Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Students will complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet-enabled device.
