Catalog Description
An intersectional, feminist perspective to explore the social determinants and issues related to the complexity of women's health at the individual and community levels. Emphasis on the role of risk factors and prevention, behavior change theories and processes, and critical analysis and evaluation of health resources.
Section Notes
This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. Coursework on Canvas starts prior to the first in-person meeting. In-person meetings will take place on Tuesdays on Ocean Campus. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 16 weeks.
