Catalog Description
Support for non-native speakers of English; advanced grammar for high level texts and composition; editing/proofreading skills to improve quality and accuracy of written pre-college work at the advanced level. Meets requirements for the Certificate of Accomplishment in Advanced Academic English as a Second Language.

This class begins on January 12th and requires 2 live online meetings during the semester, on January 15th and January 29th, and the use of Canvas with no required in-person meetings. Live online meetings require the use of CityZoom, Zoom’s web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline and is 17.5 weeks.
