Catalog Description
Independent Study allows individual students to explore academic interests in Philippine Studies through guided research projects. Students are required to either write a research paper or give a presentation on their work.
Section Notes
This course is an independent study course designed for students who have already taken at least one Philippine Studies course and/or an Ethnic Studies/Filipino American studies course. If you have not taken these types of courses it is highly suggested that you enroll in those courses first. If you have questions, please contact the instructor, Professor Villaraza (lvillaraza@ccsf.edu) prior to enrolling.
