Beginning academic listening, speaking, and reading, with an emphasis on listening and reading comprehension, oral fluency, and vocabulary development for non-native speakers of English. Practice in listening to and reading informational and literary texts, and discussion and presentation skills. Language skills integrated on the basis of academic tasks and content. ESLA 3165 and ESLA 3175 can be taken in any order.
