Welcome to International Programs at City College of San Francisco

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL F-1 VISA STUDENTS:

All City College of San Francisco international students who are here on an F-1 visa are required to purchase health insurance through Ascension Benefits and Insurance Solutions, Inc. This company has been selected by the San Francisco Community College District because it offers CCSF F-1 students excellent medical coverage at a competitive price. Once you have enrolled in the insurance program and purchased your insurance, you will be able to choose your doctor(s) from a large number of health care providers in the San Francisco and Bay Area communities.

This insurance is mandatory for all F-1 international students

City College of San Francisco welcomes International Students from throughout the world. Our International Student Programs encompass the Academic and Intensive English Programs. There are currently over 1200 students from 90 countries studying at our various campuses. Their presence complements a broad mosaic of multi-ethnic students from San Francisco.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service has authorized City College of San Francisco under federal regulations to enroll qualified non-immigrant students. Each semester the College admits international students without reference to a quota. City College of San Francisco is fully accredited by WASC, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The intensive English program is also accredited by AAIEP, the American Association of Intensive English Programs.

Memorial Holiday

CCSF International Education Programs office will be closed from
May 25 - May 28, 2013 for Memorial Day. Office will resume normal office hours May 29, 2013.
