The Transfer Center is now located in the Student Success Center (SSC), Room 1079, next to Academic Counseling


The Transfer Center assists CCSF students who want to transfer to universities for their bachelor's degree. In Fall 2025, the Transfer Center will be prioritizing students who are applying for Spring 2026 or Fall 2026 transfer admissions.

Planning on transferring for Spring/Fall 2027 or later? Academic counseling is available for students who have transfer questions. All CCSF counselors are knowledgeable on transfer requirements. Please visit the Counseling Services and Programs website for counseling information and appointments. 

New students who want to transfer to CCSF from another college should visit the Steps to Become a CCSF student website to initiate the process. 


 Fall 2026 Transfer Admissions Applications

 
  • CSU transfer application period: October 1- December 1, 2025
    • CSU Application, Steps and Instructions has resources, instructions, FAQs, and the CSU application link.
    • The Transfer Center will be hosting application assistance events from October - December. See below for monthly schedule for application assistance sessions.
  • UC transfer application period: October 1 - December 1, 2025
    • UC Application, Steps, and Instructions has resources, Personal Insight Questions, application instructions, and the UC application link.
    • The English Lab and NetTutor are campus resources to assist students with their Personal Insight Questions. More information can be found in the UC Application, Steps, and Instructions link.
    • See below for monthly schedule for application assistance sessions.
  • Private Universities and Out-of-State Universities: Deadline vary
    • Deadlines vary. Please check their admissions website for deadlines and application link
    • For universities that require the College Report, please click on "Private University Steps" for instructions.

Stanford University Update

Transfer applicants are now required to have SAT or ACT test scores as part of the required application components. Students applying for Fall 2026 admissions, must take the SAT or ACT test.

About the Transfer Center

The Transfer Center is the hub of transfer information and events for City College of San Francisco. We offer support and resources to help students prepare and successfully transfer to a four-year degree program. We train all CCSF counselors on transfer requirements so they can best assist students with their transfer goals.  

Connect with a Transfer Center Counselor:

Appointments by referral. Students must receive a referral from an academic counselor for a Transfer Center appointment. Appointments are typically for students who have complex situations.
