Password reset (self-service):
- Student e-mail password reset:
- In a web browser, go to https://ramid.ccsf.edu
- Login with the CCSF ID# & Password
- Click Student Portal
- Click the myProfile link
- Click the CCSF email/password reset link (left side)
- Take note of the Default Password
- Click the Reset Password button
- Your student e-mail password has now been reset to the Default Password. Use this to gain access to your account, then change your password to whatever you desire.
- RAM ID password reset:
- In a web browser, go to https://ramid.ccsf.edu
- Click on "New to RAM ID? Forgot Password?" button
- Enter RAM ID Username (Student ID number)
- Choose your "Authentication Type" and enter requested answer:
- Challenge Answer, which will use your previously enrolled Challenge Answers.
- “One-Time Password” (OTP), which will send a message to either your (registered) mobile device or personal email.
- Once the user’s identity has been verified either by answering Challenge Question or via OTP, the user will be prompted to set a new password.

- Hills server password reset:
- In a web browser, go to https://ramid.ccsf.edu

- Click "myRAM Portal"
- Click "Student Portal"
- Click "myProfile"
- Click the hills.ccsf.edu password reset link
- Click "Reset Password"
- Your password will be reset to your birthday-dot-initials in the following format: mmmddyy.fl
- E.g. if Bob Kane was born January 1st 1982 his password would be jan0182.bk note the use of all lower case letters and the dot between the year and initials.
- Hills will prompt you for your current password(see above), then require you to enter a new password twice.
- The rules for a new password are 9 characters minimum and 3 out of 4 of the following:
- At least 1 upper case letter
- At least 1 lower case letter
- At least 1 number
- A symbol or punctuation mark
