Fall 2019 Clubs at CCSF

The following is a list of CCSF clubs that were recognized in the Fall 2019 semester. 

Alpha Beta Gamma

Alpha Beta Gamma is an internationally recognized honor society that caters to students studying business and other related fields at 2 year institutions. The mission of the Zeta Beta Chapter is to enrich the CCSF community by assisting students in the pursuit of their educational and long term career goals. Our meetings and events are open.

Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society

This chapter fosters, maintains and recognizes scholarship among members of AGS; to develop programs offerings cultural, social, and community service activities as part of the total college experience; develop leadership skills, good character, and sound judgement.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Club

Our goal is to spread the knowledge of Artificial Intelligence. Our club members will work in groups to make projects and strengthen our skills in programming. We do a lot of interview question practice, through a peer learning environment, we will help one another grow our understanding of Computer Science.

Bridges International

Bridges International connects people from around the world to explore deeper meaning of life together, and would also like to share with people about our Christian belief. We, as a community of Christ-followers, are committed to serve, promote social connections and engage in spiritual conversations with students so that they become leaders internationally.

CCSF Engineering Club

The Engineering Club Is a hands-on program that allows students to discover, develop, and enhance their engineering skills. Its friendly environment allows students to network with other students including staff to serve as mentors. We aspire to provide students with real opportunities of participating in group projects that compete with other schools and countries. Our goal is to create and innovate new ideas that can be applicable in real life as future engineers.

CCSF Film Club

CCSF Film Club's goal is to create a student filmmakers and film-lovers community on campus. Filmmaking thrives on the spirit of collaboration, and the unique creative expressions it births, and we wish to foster that same spirit here with CCSF Film Club. The club will provide another resource for members to gain new knowledge in film, the film world, and the academic film world, while also providing filmmakers with with people to collaborate with on their own projects, and opportunities to gain experience. The mission of CCSF Film Club will be to create a space for the film enthusiast, and to share the enthusiasm with other students on campus.

CCSF Portfolio Club

The Portfolio Club provides support, community, and opportunities for artists at CCSF. We help artists to curate and promote their work through the portfolio creation process, and help each other to grow by giving feedback, and sharing encouragement and experience. Above all we are a group of peers who support each other in the pursuit of making art, and in making art careers.

Chinese Culture Club

Chinese Culture Club can be referred to as CCC, which promotes Chinese culture and helps CCSF students to learn about Chinese culture. Our core goal is to provide a platform for those who know Chinese culture or those who are interested in it to exchange their opinion or experiences. We believe that learning culture in such an interactive way would not only help our member acquire knowledge but also benefit their social relationships.

Cru Christian Fellowship

To build movements of people who are transformed by Jesus Christ. The student-led movement seeks to introduce students to Jesus Christ, help them to grow in their faith, encourage them to live life passionately under the lordship of Christ, and inspire commitment to advancing the purposes of God in the world.

English Literature Club

Our club's goal is to create a space where people can gather and share their interests in literature. We will facilitate discussions about classic and contemporary literature, poetry, and even scholarly works. By organizing these discussions, along with occasional activities and workshops in an informal environment, we hope to deepen and enhance students' passion for written works.

Entrepreneurship Club

We inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders. We provide a space to incubate your ideas and build the confidence needed to succeed in this extremely competitive business world.


Our club’s goal is to provide all students a place where they can share and exchange their cultural backgrounds. We want to establish connections between communities from all over the world and American culture. Our focus is to help international students navigate CCSF and the Bay Area, but everyone interested in cultural enrichment.

Filipino Student Association

Filipino Student Association strives to raise awareness and interest of the Filipino culture among the students of City College of San Francisco. We open our doors to everyone to be part of our Pamilya. We also aspire to create an empowering community producing leaders by promoting social gatherings, cultural activities, mental well-being, spiritual conversations, and supporting camaraderie events in relevance to Filipino culture.

Immigrant Students' Club

ISC is for you all to join and have fun. ISC's goals are to inform available academic resources to new immigrant students, learn to enhance interpersonal communication skills, and create a strong, healthy social circle in our multicultural community. ISC warmly welcomes all the CCSF students to join.

Latin and Social Dance Club

Through Social Partner Dance we help build a safe environment where CCSF students can communicate, collaborate, have fun, and build community.No partner needed.

Mindfulness Meditation Club

This is a mindfulness meditation club that aims to bring the powerful tool of meditation and yoga into the lives of students - with benefits serving as a coping method, a de-stressor, or moment-to-moment awareness.

Muslim Student Association

The Muslim Student Association is a social club meant to unite CCSF Muslims and Muslim allies on-campus. Through values of diversity, unity, and piety, the MSA will allow for Muslims to connect with their peers, practice their faith, and build a strong community. The club is open to all faiths and welcomes diversity.

Nursing Student Association

In the Nursing Student Association, we will support both academic and clinical success for our members. We will also facilitate student opportunities to enhance their personal and professional role in health care. We will advocate for campus wide health maintenance. As aspiring nurses, our goal is to promote safe, culturally appropriate health practices throughout the Bay Area.

Pacific Islander Club

The club is committed to building and nurturing an academic culture amongst its members, the Pacific Islander community and allies here at CCSF, as well as other Pacific Islander organizations in academia. Through culturally immersive and social events/activities, we will connect other Pacific Islander students, and allies, together to create a network of support that P.I. students need. Using the valuable cultural knowledge of all of our Pacific Islander students, and the teachings of the Pacific Islander faculty and staff in the VASA Student Success Academic Program, we aim to create a safe space for Pacific Islander students and allies, and to also promote the strength that each individual student has to endorse success, not only in academia but in various aspects of life.

Pre-Medical, Dental, Pharmacy (PMDP) Club

We strive to provide information regarding the application process, the Dental, Medical Admissions Test, and various fields available within these majors. We are also heavily involved with several associations, which allows our members to be involved and well informed towards the health care. PMDP is a club committed to advancing the CCSF Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Pre-Pharmacy communities. It is with our greatest honor that our members have entrusted and allowed us to represent them in their future endeavors.

Project SURVIVE Club

Project SURVIVE is City College of San Francisco’s sexual violence prevention and healthy relationship promotion program. The program is committed to social justice and is dedicated to ending all forms of power abuse--in personal relationships, social groups, and public institutions.

Zero Waste Club

Our mission is to educate students and faculty of CCSF on proper waste disposal. We aim to enlighten students and faculty as to why our trash pollution is such a monumental, global issue and encourage them to make easy changes to cut back on plastic in order to reduce unnecessary human waste. Our trash is suffocating our environments around us. The least we can do is sacrifice a few comforts and conveniences to help keep our ecosystems alive and thriving. Without them, our economy and way of life are destined to collapse as we consume our resources faster than nature is able to replenish them.

Math Club

Our mission is to inform students about how math is fun by exploring new math ideas, building a Math-centered community, and to enrich students' minds and their lives!

Finance Beyond Investing

We are here to bring the brightest financial minds together and improve their financial decision making. Ultimately, we aim to use the philosophies of finance to make wiser investments and optimize profits for future entrepreneurs.

Biology Club

The primary mission of the Biology Club of City College of San Francisco is to unite students interested in the biological sciences and those who are considering biology as a future career path, or as a base for the medical or allied health fields. Our vision is to have members participate in events that increase awareness of current biological developments and discoveries, travel to various locations to enrich their knowledge and understanding of the field of biology, explore possible career paths and networking opportunities, and act as a support network by assisting in completing transfer applications, securing scholarships, and applying for internship opportunities. The Club membership is open to all students of the CCSF community.

HISA (Health Information Student Association)

HISA provides an opportunity for healthcare students to network with peers, listen to local professionals, and enhance understanding of our chosen career fields. We encourage students to obtain certification, develop higher skills, and access better opportunities within their health professions. We are an open membership academic club, any CCSF student can join.

Student Parent United

To build a community of student parents that: support through understanding, advocate through experience and empower through education.

Political Science and Economics

In the Political Science and Economics Club, we embrace diversity and welcome the opportunity to share our views with all members of the CCSF student body and local community. We fight for the beliefs and rights of our fellow students and look to educate our student body through field trips that broaden our horizons. We wish to give back to our community through volunteering on the subjects that matter most to us, whether they are environmental, health related, or social justice focused. We aim to develop a unified blueprint that represents all students and betters the City College Community.

Gender Diversity Project Club

Trans awareness trainings for students and faculty. Incident reporting for bathroom and other gender issues. To have a safe place for trans students to be themselves.

Maker Club

To support and mentor CCSF Makers and Creators.

Archery Club

To facilitate and promote the sport of archery at City College of San Francisco. Through dedication and comradery, the Club seeks to help its archers achieve a competitive level of competency. The Club honors national and international regulations established for the sport.

Artificial Intelligence Club

Our goal is to spread the knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, working in groups to make several projects to strengthen our ability in group work and accumulate our experience in writing code related to AI field.
